Absence of the celiac trunk: A case report

چکیده

Introduction: The celiac trunk is an arterial that has been the subject of numerous anatomical and radiological studies. From its origin, at front abdominal aorta, extends for 1.5 - 2 cm then divides into three branches: left gastric artery, common hepatic artery splenic artery. This type trifurcation was first described by Haller, in 1756, considered most pattern. Anatomical variations are numerous, both terms branching dimensions. complete absence a rare variation, wherein all branches arise directly independently from aorta. Case report: A 63-year-old oncology patient referred to radiology department Mr examination abdomen, order differentially diagnose changes adrenal glands. During examination, observed. arose Conclusion: variation this mostly asymptomatic no negative effect on blood supply visceral organs. In literature, prevalence vascular pattern ranges 0.1% 4%. Knowledge abdomen very important during surgical, diagnostic endovascular procedures.
